King Hezekiah, I built a 500-offensive-index navy from nothing in two real days when I found I needed one. So you probably DID have time to defend that nation properly while it was still under the temp WP for newly acquired slaves; you just did not utilize it.

Those 100 GC you spent to buy a C3 that could be conquered for about 5% of that cost in ammo, would have been much better spent increasing your population and encouraging private investment from CEOs with all this added pop--CEO corps generate MUCH more income for you than state corps. I am not sure, but I *believe* CEO corps are also exempt from boycotts--which will help insulate your economy from those boycotts you like to whine so much about.
