Ummagumma, Oh, yeah, Pink Floyd cranked. One thing I'll give the Brits top honors on and that's rock bands. Yes, the U.S had some good ones, so did Australia, but Britain hands down.

Since I threw out the "Southern boy" reference I'll just say that for "country rock" Lynard Skynard is hard to beat.

When I was in Germany in the military their song "Free Bird" was immensely popular among the grunts. The "bird", of course, was the plane that would take you back home.

That's the thing about rock. There are almost unlimited categories. Has anyone ever heard of "Acid disco" or "soft rap"?

Hey, country rock. Come on. And I said it was the grunts' favorite. I was an NCO!

In reality I run almost the entire gamut of musical tastes. The only "music" I honestly can't deal with is rap. Put a (c) in front of it as far as I'm concerned. And I'm not a huge opera fan, but even some of that is okay.

And if you don't have any Barry White to "set the mood", classical works quite well.

Rock rules, disco sux, but music is good overall! :D

It's just getting awful hard to read what's going on out there, the month to month changes don't make sense in some areas so I get the feeling we're getting some "magic dust" in the atmosphere.

In fact, in another thread Tom said they had added water treatment and water maintenance to, I think, all worlds.

Figures. I had a water maintenance corp that was banging and just built a water treatment corp. Price I can get for maintenance now is half what it was.

Only GC I'm getting this month is for reaching Game Level 9 sometime this week. I'm aiming for 1st, baby ;)

Smart-a**! Congrats on your upcoming level bump. Is it 50 GC for every level, or does the value go up after Level 6 or 7?

Only things keeping me from my Level 5 is needing more corps in the CEO, and a couple T more in cash. I'm doing it the tortoise way, slow and steady.

The awards go up around 6 or 7. My reward for getting to 9 will be 100GC.

Are you ineligible for a game GC award this month, then? If you're currently number two (unless I looked at the wrong rankings) that should net you something, no?

Being number two could net me something. Last month I was number 6, which nets you like 50 GCs, and this month I could accept an award for maybe up to 150 GCs. However, if I accept the award, my world rank drops, which prevents me from getting rank 1 the next month. Basically, my hope is that I catch up to Eden by the end of the month (unlikely) and steal rank 1, or he accepts rank 1 award, and I get it next month. I'd rather forgo a couple of awards if it means I can grab a spot on the security council.
