Upstart? Maybe. But I suggest tennis shoes if you want to get serious, boots.

Boots = Slow and strong = target gets away easily and acan only get hurt once.
Tennis shoes = fast and painful bottoms = target can't get away and gets hurt.

If that could happen, that would be the best quality, longest lasting, most comfortable boot he ever owned. The boots made out of me would be his most cherished possession.
