Supply units

Andy you need to straighten out whatever you did during the server moves to screw up unit resupply.

I've got land units screaming for fuel with 120 game years (yes years not months) in country stock, 500,000 empty trucks and supply units sitting idle.

The move did not interfere with any data in any world.
The move of a world was done by:
stopping the world.
copying it to another server and
starting the world again on the new server.

but sh.. happens.

please give more data about what happened.

Actually I think the problem was on my end. I probably didn't have enough supply units. What I was seeing was garrisons and units starving for supplies and the supply units sitting there idle all the time. I doubled my supply units and my problem seems to have disappeared.

I believe they simply had to many places to be and when they did resupply it was so quick they were there and back before I saw it and it only looked like they were idle all he time.

You can look at the log for each one to see what it's been upto.

There very definitely was an issue, but it must cleared on it's own. I know that I had several monthes where where I waited and they were not going. It cleared up around the time I posted. I just assumed Andy fixed it.

Andy, Check out Washington on FB there are plenty of supplies, plenty of supply units, plenty of trucks but the garrisons there have taken days to fill and they are not finished. Checking the logs the supply units do simply sit idle most of the time some have never moved.

I had the same problem on WG. I just dismantled the faulty supply units and created them again and it was ok

I had this issue all the time. My supply units would sit idle when units were low on weapons, military supplies and fuel. Many times units would run out of fuel or end up totally stripped of weapons due to enemy actions and my supply units would sit there idle.

Near as I can tell, unit resupply is triggered by ammo being X (some percentage) below its target.

Default targets are rarely optimal however once I started really paying attention and making sure, I wasn't going over-board on ammunition and had more than enough fuel and military supplies in a unit, my problems went away.
