IT's been down all day.

Appears to be up. Just nobody in there.

Unfortunately, this happens now and then.
we try to prevent it and we automatically restart from time to time to clear the system up.

if it happens, please also mail the gamemaster.
we get alerts from mail messages but not from the forum.

Sorry Novian. GMs must be on break. No response to my email. So far the pattern seems to be the nightly maintenance, at 2am est., brings chat back up but it seems to go down within several hours until the next nightly maintenance.

I was just in it. It seems to be down. Too early for the normal maintenance period. I am guessing it will come back up after it though at 1:55 am est.

It's down again. Please fix chat.

The new chat isn't allowing me to log in with my password because it doesn't recognize my account password. The also isn't a way to register a new password for the chat.

Try standard stuff? Log out of game and back in? Try different browser? Reboot?

All that has been done several times. No luck.

@hcarl0804 We can't reproduce the error you're experiencing. Can you please reply with a few details:
- operating system
- browser (and any plugins/extensions that could be related)

Problems on both XP and Windows 7. I use Firefox since the chat previously lagged when using Google. Until the chat was updated, it worked fine in Firefox.

I'm still not able to use the new chat. Can this be sorted please?

We're looking into a solution for this.
If anyone else has a similar problem please let us know.
