War Levels

Just came back after a couple years. Not sure why but I have won 6 C3 Wars and I'm already at war level 5. I thought it took at least 4 C3 wins to move up 1 level. Also you can only declare on 1 C3 at a time.
Does not seem right.

I thought that too but the GM says win one you a WL 1 win 2 WL 2 etc

It was changed in 2018 I believe. There is something about it in the news page if you search through it.

This is true.
appears in some of the documents and we are in the process of updating others.

You move up the war levels every time you win a war against a C3 country.

War levels up to level 7 are now much easier to win.
there is not much of a financial advantage in winning these lower war level wars.

the reason given for C3 wars, by players on the forum, was strategic.
they are interested in winning countries far from their main empire for strategic reasons, like being able to fight a local war far away.

instead of fighting several times at C3 war level 3, you can now win several wars against c3 countries that are in war levels 3 to 7. these wars are increasingly complex but remain quite easy and you do not win much in terms of assets.

Strategic C3 wars should be available all the time, not just while you are in the low war levels. It is still impossible for me to wage a strategic C3 war at my war level 20, regardless of any changes you are making. Adding more war levels does not solve the problem, it is just a temporary bandaid for people at low war levels.

I think you will find that Fearless Blue will be your most popular world once the war level update kicks in. People are already getting really excited about FB on the chat and on discord in anticipation of the update. I'm not sure why you guys are so obsessed with your broken war level system, but I hope that this experiment on FB will help change your minds. War levels are killing your amazing game. Fighting at C3 level 3 several times is complex.
instead, we have added 5 new war levels between c3 at war level 3 and C3 at war level 9.
These war levels are all quite simple.
This gives you the possibility to win 8 wars and create an empire with 9 countries without being involved in huge fights.
The rewards are not large but the aim was to be able to conquer countries for strategic reasons, sometimes far away from your current countries.

This aim is achieved.

This is no solution for countries at a very high war level.
for them, such wars can be very costly, rewards are also much larger but may not be the solution they aimed for.

There are only a few who have this problem and they have the option to purchase a country, wherever they want it for 30 gold coins.

Strategic reasons are not reasons that require you to conquer 20 countries.
