Chat issues (Little Upsilon)

I still cant get in on my lap top or my PC. IE and FF both fail.

Where are we with this?

Can the developers comment in the news with some official suggestions so the players can get the most out of the game we are paying for?

There is a couple of good FREE anti-virus programs for home users. AVG Free and Avast both have completely free versions of fully functional anti-virus programs for download.

I have reloaded Flash and Java again. Still no effect on logging in to chat. I have set security settings for trusted sites on the lowest setting possible. No effect. It is not an issue with my firewall as I use the same firewall as before.

Now I can't log into chat.

its been 1 month and 5 days since my chat problems started, its obvious that w3 isnt gunna fix the problem sometime soon

I too am no longer able to log into chat... Why?

Its because the thingimejit is'nt pluged into the wasamacallit, meaning all you have to do is press the button that takes you to whereveritis, change the setting to whateveritis, re log on and hepresto you can get back into whateveritwas.
Simple when you know how.

I've only been a player here a week or so, but same here, have never successfully connected to chat. The aggravation of this is somewhat enhanced by the fact that it opens in a popup every time I log in. Gotta love broken stuff that stays broken but forces itself on you anyway.

Everyone logs into IRC chat anyways nowadays. SC chat is dead.

I actually feel very disconnected without the Sc chat it was one of the reasons I joined SC I met a few of the players right away and felt a connection quite frankly I miss it. IRC chat IMO is just not the same.

Hello, I have the seem problem here, i get an error from ie saying it cant authorize....

We are working on the problems in the new chat function. the authorization problem should already be fixed.
