Bug Report

Countries are unable to possess more than 500,000 land based cruise missiles. When you try to purchase more the game says there is none available in the market. The purchase still executes and is shown on the purchase log, but no stock is delivered.

Thanks Jonni. Just for some more clarification of the bug, you can increase your stock beyond 500,000 using space centre. So what I did was move 500,000 missiles into space centre. Did immediate purchase of 1 missile. Unloaded the stock from space centre and confirmed I had 500,001 missiles. Then I tried doing another purchase, and it reset my stock to 500,000. I also received this message, which I never seen before:

"Your immediate order for land based cruise has been executed. Unfortunately, there is not enough available on the market.
The purchase order is listed with your other purchase orders and will be traded as soon as possible."

This message appears even when there is available stock. When I look at my purchase log, it shows a purchase has occurred and cash deducted, but no stock delivered. The purchase is also not listed with my other pending purchase orders.

Hi Jonni, I just want to let you know that this problem also occurs with Conventional missiles. You cannot have more than 500,000 in inventory at a time.

The number will increase in the upgrade after next week.
I increased the number for several more non nuclear ammos.
For nukes, the max is 50.000

why do you need so many?

Stockpiling for massive wars of the future. I do the same thing, as I feel much better knowing I have all I might need.

I've got 177 trillion in weapons and 540 trillion in ammo and I still need more! You can never have enough Andy. I feel safe knowing I likely have the largest stock pile in all the game worlds. I am probably single handedly keeping the LU weapons industry profitable haha.

By the way the assets value of all materials including military is being calculated incorrectly as quality factor is not included. So if you see assets worth 100T and your average q is 300 then you have 300T worth of assets but not 100T.

Oh wow did not know that. All mine is high quality. Guess I have even more than I thought haha.

There is more bugs in the game that i have detected Andy, one is that i cant edit my profile in the membership area and secondly there are no pictures that i cant restore or put pictures on my country page, please look also into these as well and fix asap.

Andy, have you increased it only to 800k now for conventional and land based cruise? It stops me from buying more.

why do we have limits:

The simulation is stable and obviously run without breakdowns for a long time.
This is not written in stone.
We keep all database variables in the entire system under control by giving them a minimum and a maximum value.
A breakdown will always start with corrupt data, in one place or many.

we are alerted immediately if a value gets out of its limits.
Sometimes we just increase the range, like we will in this case or sometimes we find an error.

We used to have many some years ago but now it is very stable and we have very few.

Appreciate your efforts to make the game stable, it is clear that you are on top of it. What is needed from player perspective is some transperancy of these numbers/limits. I had the target in my country to auto buy 1M of these missiles when the game had 800k limit so i lost some cash until I reallized I am buying them, paying but number in stock is not increasing.

My suggestion would be to add the same limits to trade strategy page so I would not be able to set to auto buy more than I actually can. It should not be hard to do if you already have these values in some table.

We never had any problems with these limits because in most cases, they are much higher than what players are likely to do.
the idea is not to limit players but discover outrageous values.

I will reconsider limits immediately when I see any message about it.

After the last game update, I do not see any problems any more with such limits.
We are also checking the low limit, and numbers can get negative. There are some cases where the minimum is reached.

this is alerting us to check market conditions and the reasons it happens.

I do see some alerts from the system about some values.
very few.
One about defensive weapons maintenance products.
I will increased the limit.
some more about enterprise totals.
These are coming from a very very large enterprise that is crossing all our predictions of max values.

we already made some changes.
will make more.
