Cannot obtain component address from the directory server

I have the same problem. When I try to access Simcountry, "can't obtain component address from directory server" shows up on a otherwise white page.

My guess is Simcountry is undergoing maintenance or an update?

Any thoughts on what it could be and how to resolve it?

I've been unable to load the Simcountry website for 6-7 hours, combined with the total silence and lack of announcement about what is going on, this is starting to make me worry.

Sorry guys,

There was a small problem on the main server but unfortunately nobody could play for several hours. Luckily the problem was not with the game itself, no work is lost and no other players were able to access the game.

Oh, well thanks for fixing it. We all thought you were doing a huge update/overhaul. We've been speculating about what new features you were adding hahaha. Glad to have the game back

Its doing the Cannot obtain component address from the directory server again

I have not experienced it again. Although, I have had some server response time lags. Is the issue still effecting you?
