Can't activate war protection!!!

I can't activate war protection because a war I am in with a C3 counts as a president country despite it having no president. Meanwhile I am under threat with no real defense.

PLEASE FIX THIS ANDY... The moment a president abandons a country, then WP should be optional!

There is nothing to fix. This has always been a turn-based game in many of it's functions.

You can turn on war protection when the country is not in war.

In a war with a C3 country, your country is also attacked.

my suggestion is to finish this war, either by winning it or by inactivity.
then turn on war protection, then return to that war if needed.
