Moving units

I am having a problem with when I click on the map to move a unit, the little marker showing where its moving too is always about an inch or so below where I click.

Yes, it does take a second for the system to refresh and lock in a coordinate after giving units a command to move to another position on the map.

Try to refresh it by clicking on the two circular arrows button at the top-left of the window. Then, try to move it to a more precise location.

I am making the assumption that you are moving units on the interface for a war.

Yes....its while I move units in war.
It makes no difference what I do. It always sends my units an inch or so below where I clicked for them to go. Its been doing it for ages, but I had intended on not fighting anymore.....until Aries came up with War games....
Please GM....Whats going on?

What browser are you using? Have you tried using a different browser?

I'm using Chrome. I will give it a go on FireFox and explorer.

I'm using chrome it won't let me move my troops closer to the enemy it just moves the screenwon't let me pick my troops up and move them any help be awesome thanks

Sorry I couldn't help you last night, chat was pretty unstable and kept kicking me.

All in all, if you really want help from the devs, you might consider posting:

- what planet you are playing on
- what your country name is
- what country you are at war with

He is talking about while at war and he is trying to drag and drop them, which is unavailable while at war. When at war, units must be selected and ordered to move to a destination. They will then gradually move to where you ordered them.

Maybe he was trying to drag and drop, or maybe he did really mean it how it was typed I don't know. He was trying to give the command to move the units closer. The same thing happened to me in the second or third c3 war I was using to get pop from. Oddly enough, nothing worked. I only kept getting the error "the map is outdated. The target doesn't exist anymore." Nothing worked at all, refreshing the screen, closing and re-opening, waiting until the next game month. I got frustrated and just declared on the neighboring c3 and ended the war in the other country.

The only thing I didn't do was try to use another browser.

sorry i was in war mode the system was only letting me use land troops not planes it told me i need to move troops closer i have no clue how during a war
