Is it just me or does the last day of each month tend to take longer before switching to the first day of the next month?

You are right and it is not you.
A next month run starts about once in 4 hours.
most days are 9 minutes. in some cases 12 minutes.
30 or 31 days take longer than 4 hours and most months are cut short but it is hard to notice.
except for one gap between two game months which is 6 hours. This gives us some time for maintenance when needed without disturbing the processing.
in that case, the last day of the month ends after about 5 hours and sits there for a long time before the next month begins.
