Deactaivated defensive troops--no explanation (Golden Rainbow)

A month or so the system deactivated a bunch of troops, sending a message that I needed a base or airport. I built a base and an airport, reactivated troops, but now as I'm almost to level 5, troops have been deactivated again, this time with no explanation. This happened right as I was solving an HLW, HTE, HLM problem. I'm thinking of that saying " Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you."

Is there a way to figure out what caused the deactivation?

I simply issued a command to reactivate the Max troops and that apparently worked. I want to avoid this happening again, so I tried to figure out how to build install another base and military airport but couldn't figure out how to do this--I have 1 of each in stock My Country is Mullin. I ordered more military transports so I could set up a remote depot. Any other Ideas--I have lots of Mil serv and Mil supplies and lots of unemployed as I'm still recovering from the HLM problem.

I'm guessing that the SimC saw that my expenses were high (I've been buying hospitals to get me up to the Health index needed for level 5) and decided to rescue me from myself and cut back spending on defense by inactivating weapons. Now I'll have to laboriously check in 4 times a day so I can reactivate weapons to get to level 5. The SimC Artificail Intelligence (hereafter referred to as the Artificial Stupidity System -or ASS) sure tries hard to be sure we don't enjoy this game too much.

I fianlly looked at the newspaper in a month deactivations were happening. I had two problems--I needed another base in one country, in another my gov't salaries were too low. Both problems easily fixed, but to get troops re-activated you have to log on every 6 hours and do the reactivation command.

The developers of this game installed a lot of "gotcha's", I guess to make the game harder. I wish they'd been a little more creative. If they're going to do this they need an auto system to reactive the max troop every SC day without the need to log in 4 times a day. Is there a way to do this I don't know about?

no there is no other way but to log in and do the 10% they let ya every game month.
