Lost 4 mobile units out in thin air??

Recently I transfered 4 Mobile Missile Defense Units and 6 Mobile Supply Units to four countries (10 units in each). Right now I discovered, that in the two of the countries, one Mobile Missile Defense Unit was gone, I now only have 3 Mobile Missile Defense Units instead of 4. The weapons was there and enough supplies of missiles and expected the officers and soldiers to be there too, but no, they were also gone?

In two of the other countries, one Mobile Supply Unit is missing in each and the related weapons are gone, but some of the officers and soldiers are still there?

All the nescessary supplies and ammunition is awaiable, so how can it be? A shortage in the workforce maybe?

I thought all mobile units used professional officers and soldiers. So that shouldn't be it.

I thought that too, but maybe the game take them if there is shortage of workers??

Do you have the countries set up to have your professional soldiers in mobiles 1st than other units or mobiles only. Set them to mobiles only if not, you may lose some professionals if they're in other units and you attack a c3.

If there is a shortage of workers they may take up some drafted soldiers and officers, professional soldiers and officers may be forced into their positions if you have it set to mobiles first and other units.
