Should I accept second tier rewards?

Since my account is new (started mid May), I have no score penalties. I've won a second tier award for both Country and CEO (both my CEOs actually) on White Giant. I have a good chance of finishing 1st for June in at least 1 (if not both) of these. Even with a modest score penalty, I think I have decent chances.

Should I accept these awards or decline them? If I accept, am I still eligible for an award for June? If I win 1st place at a given point, is the 5 month wait period to win any award still valid? Can I accept both CEO awards or just the 1?

Id go for the first place award in CEO. 2nd tier awards for CEO i usually pass on myself. 2nd tier awards in Country are not bad. Thats just my preferences

What King Woel said (if you have a legit chance of winning 1st in the next few months). I'd focus on trying to secure first place.
