Why don't we have a Global culture in some sort, it's like we are just Aliens to eachother that only care of their continental expansion.
We are all on the same planet so we should be united in some ways so, I think that we should have something like the Olympics, Football World Cups Regional Events that unite us together, allow a Nation or Region to Host an event and for each amount of budget they put in for advertiseing these events, thousands more people should come in attendence (also a Tourism aspect should be included) and the attendence will rise or drop depending on the Nations' score/reputation and travel availability (lack of Airports, Lacking transportation, etc.).
The Security Council could also issue Boycotts on neglecting nations and change the locations with a major cost of maintenence of changing the location, and this would be a major economy helping and developing method of keeping us united

There are already countries generated with random names, companies generated with random names, military units with random names.
I think there should be demographic groups generated with random names as well. Of course they don't have to have any similarity whatsoever to real world groups.
These groups of people could come and go thru migration and you can could make policies like you do with education priorities for example to gradually encourage/discourage their migration. These policies would be displayed publicly so everybody could see your country's stance against/for those groups. Maybe the top 5 largest groups (and an 'other' percentage comprised of smaller residing groups) would be shown on a countrys main page and migration page. Also maybe the maps could have a toggable cultural/demographic overlay.
So like you could have 65pc Aaltonites (modifying a random company name as example) in you
