Tiding over the Current Economic crisis has indeed posed a massive challenge to the Leadership of the Great Costa Republic.
As a Free nation, the Republic has faced stiff challenges with shortage of several critical raw materials.
It is evident that now the economic forecast looks a bit promising.
The Crisis has highlighted the loopholes in the management of supply chain of raw materials, and have proved that long term contracts of certain products are needed to tide over such times.
We thank the Ministry of Labour, The Ministry of Finance, and our Corporate partners for swiftly executing long term contracts to prevent the Costa Economy from collapsing.
We also are indebted to the Citizens of the Great Costa for dealing with the economic pressure and shortages due to high demands.
In order to provide relief to the common people , President Astejas has introduced subsidy policy on Pharmaceutical products, and essential materials including Electric power. The Government has also passed an executive order to increase the salary of both Government employees as well as State Corporation employees by 10% and 5% respectively.
Also during the Crisis, The Great Costa Republic has issued 60000 Emergency Refuge Class ( ERC) type visas to people coming in from neighbouring countries . We thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for handling this smoothly and proving necessary arrangements for those suffering the illeffects of the Economic Crisis.
There are another 12000 applicants in the waiting list.
We also thank the Ministry of health, Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, and Allied medical service for setting up medical camps and providing free health service to the refugees.
The Great Costa Republic totally agrees with the Union States recent address, and to do our part, we have dispachted 600BSC$ as emergency relief loans, and plan to contribute more.
