From what little additional information I can gather is that it appeared that at first this may have been an isolated preemptive strike against psycho honey. Shortly after, Pancakes preemptively declared war against a country that had diplomatic relations with the president that was affected by said earlier said nuclear strikes.

Our War Department and President has scheduled an emergency meeting within the hour.

We are withdrawing ambassadors from all member-states of the WGU federation until this matter becomes more clear.
