I am German comrade and I can most certainly confirm that Russia made it to Berlin well before the Americans and that Hitler committed suicide (and was prevented an escape) due to the Russian Army, which unfortunately inflicted heavy war atrocities to my people, including raping entire towns and villages and several more...
