No after a conversation today in chat with one of the Union Members, I am retiring immediately. I was going to wait til the end of my membership in January, but I'm leaving immediately.

I want no part of what I am seeing here with some individuals in the game.

I know it is discouraging to lose your country to war, but that is part of the game. If you go WL3 and have a slave, you MUST either put up a defense, buy war protection, or risk losing it. Rather than quit the game, learn from the experience and be a stronger player for it. Also, you call Nico a name again, I'm coming after YOU myself!!!! That is my adopted sim child! No one calls him a name but ME!!! SCOWL!!!!!!!

Jan is one of the best people I have met in this game. She is a true friend. You two should be a shamed. How many times did she call you, Alterd to help you with your situation in real life, to offer you encouragement. Same to you, Ian. She tried to make you feel better when you had your self esteem issue and this is what you do to her? And THAT ladies and gentlemen, is why Ian has no friends and real life

well i think the question really comes down to Me or Jan and I'm just overwhelmingly charming hence why alterd and ian are in the union... get used to it Nico

Its how the game works... Politik, Politik, Politik... We have many differences, among them the following; The Union is large, active and democratic (If we are declining democratically its because of the membership not one dictator...), The Union doesn't oblige its members to go on genocidal wars against a Federation that barely takes notice of us, is 6 times larger, rejected an alliance with us and has dealt with pests in the past... In fact is specialised on that...
You just proved how impotent you all are.

I never did anything to harm jan and I don't know why everyone is still going on about this. Jan came to a meeting she wasn't meant to be in, I asked her why she was there and she said "Nico gave me the link but i'll leave", so I kicked her from the chat to speed stuff up. She came back and instead of simply asking why she was kicked from the chat she stated we had pissed her off and earned her wrath and than left.

Had Jan either not joined the chat or had simply asked why she was kicked from the chat we would not be in this current situation, everyone just needs to grow up and forget the stupid bs of the past.

Also I never asked jan for "help" she started trying to be my mother to me which I honestly found creepy. My self esteem issues are my issues to resolve in real life not stuff to be put here on the forums as an attack against me. Also I have friends nico, people I talk to on weekdays and hang out with.

I thought the Union was a peaceful federation, yet it is issuing war decs....this goes against everything Wolfker and others have said about The Union. Wonders if it is ALL lies.

You have aggressively attacked a friend of mine who happens to be located in my region and i take interest in ongoings in my region.... i do not care to have enemies within fighter range of me... feel free to abandon the country

1 shot fired at Nico will seal The Union's doom in this game. Let you be warned, Tbone. I may not be playing the game, but I do have powerful friends who do.

How about letting it be 1 v 1 instead of dragging a bunch of people into it. A person strength is measured by their power, intelligence, etc, etc not the power and intelligence, etc, etc of their friends.

2 things first Nico Jan is a friend of mine we do not agree on game issues Her giving me a little support in a time of need is not a bad thing. This is still a game so that is personal not your business. Second Jan and all her threats with bringing in all her big friends to kill everyone that offend her. The threat is real but not likely they are more mature than that stomping noobs are not there style just because she is pissed.

Actually, Eb (Alterd), don't be too hard on Nico, because he is only echoing sentiments that I have shared with him. As my friend, first, he was taking up for me. It hurts when people that you liked and spent time with on a personal level as a friend bash you and taunt you in a game. For some reason you saw a need here to single me out. My question to you is why?

Oh and for the record, I'm not pissed off at all. I say stuff for giggles. Trust me, you'll know if I'm really angry.

Fort Serenity army takes full control in Respublica Ardglass
After the attack, the president of Respublica Ardglass is reported to have left the country and a new government approved by Fort Serenity has been nominated. Respublica Ardglass (the attacked country) reports:
The county of Rupert is completely destroyed.
There were 1806 casualties and 2907 civilians were wounded.
Weapons based at Rupert may have been destroyed.
The defence was assisted by Defense helicopter Wing Elizabeth, Defense helicopter Wing Rubata and Defense helicopter Wing Bilthoven.
Fort Serenity (the attacker) reports:
Algara lost 97 mid range missile batteries.
Algara lost trucks, gasoline and military supplies.
The attack may have been reduced or eliminated by Anti Missile Missiles.
388 soldiers were killed and 875 were wounded.

Even though the Union recognises defeat... It also recognises the fact that war was brought upon hastily and without being prepared in full. Our most distinguished War Members were in holidays and an accurate defence failed because of the quickness of the conflict.

I resigned as Head Councillor of The Union and I am not sure what the Federation's next course will be.... Leadership positions won't be up to me now. So don't come to me!

Well it is not like I had declared war, Ardglass did. It's Ardglass's fault he had lost. I had no intentions in attacking The Union. Just clearly defended myself. Happy holidays and be safe everyone

Nico you surprised me and exceeded expectations in every way from your nuke attacks to your rapid deployment to your gracious attitude after winning and as such i will be gracious in losing as well i recognize my defeat though i never considered myself unbeatable......i think we had a good go at it..... as per my defeat i will not bother you with your position in my region so long as you wish to maintain it nor will i trouble you with other matters with the exception of defending my allies however i must inform you that i intend to take every measure to retake my country that i have just lost.... it would please me greatly if you simply withdrew (certainly you are entitled to transfer all wealth possible) and allowed me to reclaim my lands which i have devoted much time to.... if not then you can expect another war one which i will be much better prepared for and not one so hastily planned aswell as one in which i have immediete access

First of all why cant TheWhy come out and say it himself? And I will have The Union know, I do NOT need to tell you whether I will keep Ardglass's country, that is top secret. But if I do keep it, and if Ardglass declares war on my empire again, not only will there be a war between Ardglass and I, but The Union will be dragged into it. We had our 1-on-1 like Ian wanted it to be. No more of that. The Union will suffer if a player from The Union declares war on me again. Also, Ardglass said "allowed me to reclaim my lands which i have devoted much time to...". Well it is Ardglass's fault that he lost his country, not I. I did not declare war, he did. I just finished it.

Perhaps your peaceful federation would not get into so many scrapes and drama if certain members didn't treat other players atrociously (namely one: Ian Cameron). I know that you have a group of free players, but you have to expect that if they insult other players, negative attention will always be drawn to your group.

I have the utmost respect for TheWhy (as I lovingly call him Tbone.) He actually stood up for me the day Ian Cameron spouted his insane nonsense in chat that day.

TheWhy fought valiantly last night. I would be proud to have him serve with me in the game any day, if I were still playing it. I also am very proud of Nico. In all my years of playing, this 15-year-old young man truly embodies the spirit of the game and true loyalty to his mates and friends.

I haven't done anything to you jan, yet you continue to say I have. I haven't called you any names in public or anything against your "reputation". And yet when I ask you to say what it is I did you ignore me and if you do answer you just say something from forever ago that was amended. Tell everyone here in the forums what it is I did to wrong you recently.

also I don't believe sneak attacks from unknown players is a 1 V 1 war, and using mass nuke attacks against a player without said abilities isn't exactly fair either. The only battles Ardy lost was the ones you used nukes and Sf in.
