Diplomacy and news from the Theocratic Empire Centered on Charn

As the leadership of the Theocracy in Charn leads another return to the planet of White Giant, we've noticed a shift in how this part of the solar system interacts. World leaders are proactive with their announcements and proclamations, and a lot of world politics is now taking place in the open instead of behind closed doors.

As such, we've decided to open our own channel to participate in global politics in this manner. We will not be posting the same volume of internal news right now as some other empires may, as our society is stable and content at the moment. However, we wish to have more transparent diplomacy and collaboration with other states.

We welcome any players who say hello, offer trade deals, and interact with us in any way - with extra value being perceived for utilizing in game mechanics. Such activities may improve relations with us should you so desire, and could be a proactive way to avoid hostile relations with us in the future.

Whether our society is currently stable or not, historically, our populace has been supportive of an expansionist, opportunistic, and aggressive foreign policy. The last time we were in this part of the galaxy, we engaged in a crusade, we initiated a war against perceived threats who'd moved into regions we felt were too close to our own home territory, and fought a war against an ambitious and talented player who we felt could've grown to become such a global power that our own security and influence would've been diminished. We are extremely proactive with looking out for our territorial integrity.

Diplomatic updates:

1. We are working on establishing a trade league with other presidents and leaders. This will potentially have a political agenda and utilize embargoes. We would love for you to inquire and join.

2. Our federation has grown to include an empire besides our own, as our trusted friend Matthew IV has joined us in working toward common goals

3. Based off forum interactions, we are on friendly terms with Union States King, Matthew IV, and Taurus Froth

4. We have been negotiating with the Chinese Empire to strengthen relations beyond our non-aggression pact - more details to come

5. We have engaged in information exchange regarding wind farms with two players who not only are on White Giant, but have holdings elsewhere, including in Tiny Atlas. These information exchanges have been of extreme value to us. We consider these two players friends and possible allies.

We would like to announce that we now trade in Yuan. We have had some very productive dealings with President Amalie and the Chinese Empire. They have more than earned our gratitude and as a result, we have welcomed trade in their currency.

We had meant to make this announcement some time ago, but our diplomats got sidetracked visiting the Kingdom of Batavia, and today we were informed that "they may have been sacrificed [to the Gods], who knows?"

Fair enough. A noble end to some disposable human capitol. We remain closely allied with His Majesty Matthew IV, and understand the situation and his decision completely. We would've probably sacrificed human capital in our annual Dirt River celebration instead, but again, we do not lead proceedings and determine the value of such actions in Batavian land.

Today, we were informed by a leader who will not be named here that our Gods do not see the truth, and that his leader is the only one who can understand such things. We do not find this view valid, and will hold further hearings internally to determine how to handle such wild claims.

Lastly, we would like to announce that we have joined a second federation to better protect some of the outlying parts of our empire. This federation is located in the eastern part of White Giant and is called the "Windfarm Defense Initiative." With the name, we tip our collective caps to some great players who've come before as well as to our new allies, who we'd previously mentioned engaging in information exchange with. Our federation members have our utmost respect and we hope to continue to learn great things from them.
