That post was disgusting, full of prejudice and bigoted. It should never be repeated, passed-on or perpetuated. Furthermore, the author does not deserve any recognition or attention for it.

It also contains personal information that may or may not be true about various people, some of whom are still playing the game. I urge everyone who has a copy of it NOT to pass it around.

I'm torn between discouraging others from reading it, because of its hatefulness, and encouraging them to read it, so that they can make an informed decision. I'm confident that any of my friends who read it will share my disgust.

If anyone chooses to distribute the post, however, I respectfully request that you remove all names, and any information which would identify the people named in the post (i.e., nationalities, and state and city names in RL).

Removing names will protect the personal information of the people named without changing the character of the post one bit.

I personally bear JG no ill will, but I cannot honestly believe that his final post was an isolated outburst - I can only assume that it revealed his true colours.

As you all are aware, I have returned to the game. I have tried to keep to myself and just focus on building a decent empire.

But, I have sat here now for 4 weeks watching the posts of insults, threats and etc. I also see certain parties insist on putting me back into the spotlight. A spotlight I must say I have no desire to be in.

So I have decided it is the time to speak.

Back in Jan. when I wrote that farewell post I was frustrated, angry, I felt betrayed, and even hurt. I lashed out at many players thinking I would never return to Sim Country. I said many hurtful and hateful things, many which werent even true. At this time I would sincerely like to apologize to each and every one of those I wrote about. I was out of line and I am truly sorry.

JG, no one knows the meaning of "SC is a GAME" more than myself and Sam. It is our playing philosophy. You are the only person who has ever transcended the level of it being "just a game." Sure, people slip into personal attacks, but nothing is as premeditated and intentionally hurtful as what you posted.

The intentionality behind your post is furthered by how you continued to hang around the SC chat and occasionally goad the players in there.

I've left WG, but any world that I am on is closed to you as long as I remain on it.
