Yankee- Nope always been the same. I started playing SC back from nearly the beginning when it was all free. I retired for awhile after holding the number 1 spot in GR (which was the only pay world at the time) for a few months straight. Now I have been back for ever how long it has been.

and yes the game except GR was free back then and rewards where paid in cash.

I only step in the face of flaws. There is none here.

Unfortunately for me I was the innocent victim of a mistaken identity due to my similar country name to The Grand Duchy of Brandenburg. I was doing just fine minding my own business and trying not to look for trouble.

If Aaron had bothered to inquire of me regarding my alleged misdeeds I might have been able to avert the estimated 12-15T his short war with me cost my empire. Now due to my panic buying of defensive weapons the economy in 3 of my 5 countries is 20B a month upside down.

I am not crying over spilt milk but it seems to me players with as much power as these wield have a responsibility to make sure they are going after the appropriate target before pounding innocent peace loving countries such as mine into oblivion.

I don't expect to be repaid for this miscarriage of justice by El Loco but I would appreciate it if those who are able would move some high quality corps into my countries to help my economy rebuil

You were not the victim of mistaken identity. You were the victim of an attempted robbery. Had I been even semi-active beforehand, and had you not sent a message with a real complaint and concerns in it it would have been a successful robbery too. By the way I have no power to wield and I'll deem any target I wish appropriate. A message detailing why you shouldn't be attacked instead of "what the hell is your problem" is a much better way to make peace too.

Duchess, you failed to mention that you had been in the same Fed and CM with Goth.

Gothard sold one of his CEO's to another clone of his named "wicked", who in keeping with this CEO's tradition has already begun hostile bidding.

The fact that Gothard was able to sell this worthless POS immediately raises a few questions.

Hondo, yes I was a member of his Fed for about 2 days and not until after this war started. Friends were few and far between and he offered to help so I joined. As soon as I figured out what had happened I left it and I have not communicated with him since.

At least you recognized and learned from your mistake. More than can be said for Gothard.
