How mnay accounts per IP address are we allowed to have?

I've created about 5 or 6 so far and haven't got a prompt saying I've created the maximum amount, just wondering how many cause I don't want to get banned, I'll close the remaining accounts if I've gone over. Is it 15 accounts ?

They dont care how many accounts you have scags. Just go with it, seems everybody else does. Just don't advertise the fact.

I read somewhere that there was a limit per IP address, oh well, I guess I'll just keep building until I get a message saying I've reached the limit, thanks, and you guys let me know if you need anything

I looked up the what the TOS(Documentation -> Terms and Conditions) said about multiplaying. As far as can tell, it doesn't say anything. However, it is a long document and I may have overlooked it.

On the other side, the FAQ contains a point about multiplaying and states that very clearly that "Players can have only one account in the game."

It would have been better if the TOS also included this.

I'm pretty sure it is there, because I've quoted that part before.

It seems to me that if you have multiple accounts -and are buying GCs on all accounts - sounds like a paying customer to me.

Still - I don't see how one can keep track of more than one...

Accounts cost money, if your going to use them. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

could you please relocate your countries on FB on your scagweed3 account you are blocking me from raiding. If you use multi account please use them so that you don't distract another players how play fair.

The region is empty and there is enough room for everyone so there is no need to block me (i have to airlift my raiding units ).

It should not be a problem. Treat the countries like any other. Remember unless they pay, they can only support there empire/ friends.

If you wish to have someone else do its fine but the moment you have mult accounts its a problem.

It creates a lack of trust and no one will ally with new players because they might fear a mult.

Without the older players willing to educate the new guys they will stagnant and this is what the GM has been trying to prevent for some time.

Either the GM needs to do 1 of 2 possible ideas.

Ban mults period. Give them a warning and allow 1 account only.

----OR----

allow mult accounts but under the main page of either they're nation or where easily visable have a tab that says shared IP. Yes/NO

I've had a response from the Game Master on this issue and they said they allow multis for limited time or til they find them. They allow you to make a second account, because they understand that some make mistakes in game and create a second account. In that case, they are allow some grace, but they do not allow multis in the technical term. GM says most that create 2 accounts, usually only use the one in long term. Should not penalize a family playing though, using the same Internet connection, or friends near each other. There IP would be the same, so it makes it difficult to track them all. Multis should not be allowed in the term of the same person with 5 accounts. GM was specifically talking of ones with 2 accounts, who wanted to change planets or messed up their first. We have seen this issue too much with ones who abuse it. I agree with some grace for those types, but not for people who use their multis for purposes that are only meant to dece

It sounds quite reasonable but it is not our response. not in the past year or so.

we know when an IP address is used by one or more people. maybe not in the first days but we have tools to find out in time.

we had a few requests for two family members from the same IP number.

its silly to really think that their is no multi-problem, which is what W3C would have you believe.

and the blind eye, does allow them to keep going

their is little that is ever done about it, and complaining, does no good

but hey, as long as the rest of us pay our share, by swiping our card, to do what we could do a year ago w/o, then its a win/win for the GM.

What (Pink Panther) Rob said above is what Rob (Blueserpent) used to say. Dec on all the accounts you think are multi accounts. One person can't play all 10 accounts at once. ha ha ha Well........unless there are a group of players who are all into each others' accounts. Well, I think we've all done that before!

I have come to believe that the entire foundation of this game is based on chaos, it is basically one big mind f--k. I have tried to figure it out, but I am leaning towards Chiwoo's "Roving Eye" concept. lmao I mean I think the "Roving Eye" are a group of players who have played this game for years, probably since its beginnings, a game clique of sorts. This is "their" game, and all the rest of us are poor fools for even trying. lol
