High welfare and low taxes and a 100% hiring policy. Lots of state corps so its easy to get 100% hiring even if there are not a huge unemployment (social-democracy ftw).

The Realm of Skullz, and TRoS2. You'll notice not that much room, in the way of workers. But, I will lower my salaries, that way you get the employees. 0% tax, and always hovering at 130 welfare. It won't take that long to get all hiring back to normal. And when it's good in the Realm, It's real good. Build away!

I'll be sending out build orders to these countries within 3-4 game months (waiting for my current build schedule to finish). Expect some corporation requests from my newest enterprise, Accordion Amatil, as well.

In the meantime, all you people that haven't responded should! Don't you want to save the world too? :P

I like your style! Don't have a country to offer you a home in at the moment, but had to say that I enjoy people who can get into the spirit of the game. It's just dull when everybody takes it seriously.

Just a little something to fill the "tweener" time while the game made it's second pass through the month.

One of the things I believe people don't really pay attention to is the utilization chart. It really can tell you a lot about the econ situation.

But don't let me get started! As you can tell I tend to write some LONG posts! Comes from my job, or what used to be my job before the extended bad economy here in the U.S.,and I got paid basically by the word, so if it can be said in five I'll take ten. :P

Used to freelance for magazines, etc. focusing on history, international relations, and travel. Unfortunately that no longer pays the bills so I have a mundane job until (if?) the economy picks back up.

I'm actually residing around Sydney at the moment, I used to live in the Blue Mountains (which is near Sydney). The Mountains are a beautiful place - look up "Echo Point Katoomba" or "Three Sisters" on google images :P

I know you guys don't REALLY talk like Croc Dundee, but had to "yank" your chain a little bit.

We Americans tend to fall easily for stereotypes. Many people here think all Brits talk wth a cockney accent, and all Aussies dress in shorts and strange hats, running around having barbecues and drinking Foster's while calling everyone "mate".

The Three Sisters is(are?) awesome! My brother worked for Viator (travel company headquartered in Australia)and lived in Sydney for a couple years. He took me out there when I visited him.

Crafty, I'm going to have to see if I can get some of that coffee. Always on the lookout for new blends. As long as it's not the stuff that marsupials eat! Anything which has passed through an animals' digestive system is not for me!

The Three Sisters are awesome indeed. Did you know there's a rainforest up here? It's cool to think that there's a rainforest in this area where the temperature ranges from -5 to 15 Celsius in winter :P

Today was a good day, power "only" went out for 4 hours. Keep telling myself I'm going to buy a generator but never get around to it.

Rainforests are cool, but I prefer to see them on the nature channel. Large carnivorous animals, equally large snakes, and enough creepy crawlies to last five lifetimes are not my "cuppa". Had enough of those adventures when I wore Uncle Sam's camos. :P

Australia does have some nasty spiders. I forget the name of it, but I think there's one whose venom is deadlier than the cobra. And also one of the world's deadliest snakes call Australia home.

I was indeed in the Army, back in the dark ages of the '70s and '80s. After I graduated college I just got this wild hair and volunteered. Overall the experience was a positive.

My jungle experience comes from a one week survival training course I took. We were given a map, a compass, a combat knife, a full canteen of water, water decontamination pills, and three meals worth of rations. They then dropped us in the middle of WTF ville and told us the coordinates they would meet us at in 7 days. Let me just say it was an adventure. No neat toys like GPS in those days, and they did a full inspection of our gear before dropping us to be sure we didn&

Many of the world's deadliest snakes, spiders, and other things call Australia home :P
We have the Sydney Funnelweb Spider (one of the deadliest, found one in my room the other day). We have the Taipan, the King Brown, the Brown, the Tiger, and the Red-Bellied Black snakes (and all but the Taipan I have seen near my house). We have the box jellyfish, the bull shark, and the great white shark - you can even find bull sharks up in the Parramatta River near Sydney.

Any significance to the game name? Ah, my name must be fascinating, because I always get asked this question. Long story short, I joined Kingdom of Loathing and, at the character selection screen, I saw a class named "Accordion Thief". I then saw a class called "Disco Bandit" which I decided was better. So I jokingly said to myself, "Accordion Thief? Accordion THIS!" before clicking on the Disco Bandit class :P And thence comes the name.
