Green Paws Empire:

Countries: 1
Population: 167m (non-reducing)
Rank: 3rd
Game Level: 4
Monthly Production: 1.6T

GPE has reached a financially self-sufficient position. With a small number of cash injections (thanks goes out to largest benefactor, Border C), 250+ corps are now operating in GPE.

Playing for 3 days past a month, rank 3 has been reached and a bet exists to get to #1 by the end of the month.

Peaceful Game Level 6 will be reached before another country will be established. I guess I'll concentrate on the military side then.

Population growth should continue and hit 250m by the end of September.

Allied Forces has accepted an additional member to demonstrate peace with a significant neighbour in it's home region.

Despite a few problems still in the game, this trial looks as though I'm more likely to stay than leave when it expires in O

How in God's name are you maintaining 167 million people with a Health Index of only 117?

I may still be covered by the "newbie" protetion but once you've got to the required number, the population should not be rebelling on that issue.

The heath index is also steadily rising and shirtly will be rising much faster once the education index is much closer to 180 (currently 152).

The initial aim will be to bring the health index up to 160.

Its a mistake the GM opened up with some updates awhile back. You see ATM anyone can go over 100M and hes thinks its nice and dany until they fix it and he loses 3M a month then there will be the flood of messages of WHY i'm losing pop

The highest production on LU was 1.389 T last month when I looked at it. Go for 1.5T. Better yet, go for 2T (2.5T?) with that population. My main is sitting right under 100M so I am interested in watching to see if you can maintain that population level long term. Good job!

Population:

I checked the Game News and it said Dec/10 that populations would no longer have increases due to extra births but would not decline if health index reasonable etc. This would be fizzled out at population move through the age groups.

I have checked several countries over 100m and I see the earlier age groups stabilised and the reductions moving up the age groups. It does seem to have been taking quite some time to fizzle out but none the less I believe it is quiter sustainable.

So far, my earliest age group (0-4) is holding steady at what ever level of increase.

Thank you ZR, it is an interesting experiment and one which I'm enjoying.

Production should hit 2T by the end of the month.

you would be a marked man if you decide to go on the war side of things... now try to maintain a good defence to protect that pop.Its better to have countries around 60 mill.. each with its own econ and defence to protect each other then a super country. How are you gonna trade workers or assets or weapons with a single country?

When I ran the number earlier, there were 10 countries with more than 1T in production. By Prod/Pop, I think you were #9. At 2T, you move to #5. You would need about 2.3T to be #1. I didn't look at any countries with less than 1T in production, but I am sure some of those have a pretty high prod/pop number.

How long have you maintained that population? Is it growing higher? I have a large empire so I don't have a need to go higher at the moment, but it would be interesting to try.

@Homerdrome

The main country won't eneter any wars but it will provide fed/empire defence with air units.

It'll be very hard for others to harm the main country.

Slave countries will be the one to enter the military side.

The main will be the cash contributor to the empire to fund the military.

@ZentrinoRisen

Are you looking at production over all world.

LU's top production:

Green Paws Empire 1.69T
Jungleland 1.4T
A1 1.38T
Yehuda 1.27T
Melichor 1.24T

The account was started on the 16tj July 2011 and I've steadily increased it to this level.

At this level, the birth rate no longer increases your population, but the 0-4 age group stays constant with each increase in population.

It only naturally grows because of the 0-4 age group feeding into the higher age groups, which would eventually settle as well, dependent of course on the health/welfare etc. of the country.

I looked at countries with more than 1T in production. There are 10 on LU. I divided the production by their population to give the countries with the best use of their population. It is the PPC listed in the country stats posts. This is from Nov 2835 on LU. That gives this:

Yehuda 13,729
Jungleland 13,704
Melichor 13,383
CG3000 11,963
Horde of Nations 11,494
Pekardi 11,294
GiGi 11,149
A1 10,491
Green Paws Empire 10,182
Economics 101 8,965

I like this number best because it balances out large populations. CG3000 is 15th in population and 4th in PPC. Those are some hard working Sims there!

At 2T production with current pop, you would be 11,778 (5th). To get top spot, you would need a little over 2.3T in production at current pop. (This, of course, excludes all countries not making 1

Ah yes, sorry I missed what you meant by "prod/pop"..... and I'm an accountant as well lol.

That's a very interesting statistic. Great way to test how efficient we're using our pop.

The unemployed and potentially freed up workers equal the equivalent of about 36% (13% & 23% respectively)of my currently employed pop.

My population will probably be growing too quickly to be super-efficient but I shall give it a try.

I think it will be tough with a continued expansion in population. But, once you have your population stabilized where you want it, then it is something to give a go at.

I think I'll need to have a high education index (200+), regular transfers of corps to CEO and lots of back to work schools and special clinics in order to increase efficiency with high pop growth.

Plans are afoot . . .

Population has not hit 186M and production is now at 2T.

Production per capita has increased a few hundred. This should increase by at least 2K by the end of September.

Available efficiencies not utilsied amount to about 45% of existing production.

This would broadly mean the potential is 15,887.

Population is still expected to hit 250m and the production is expect to hit 3T by the end of September, achieving a 12k of production per head of pop.

A path has been set for increased efficiency and increasing population. The education index is key to this and is currently at 196, with intentions to take it higher but at a slower pace, maybe as high as 220. Without infusions of new pop for more than a few days, the education priorities would need to be brought down to below 120.

The health index is only 125 but will be quickening in rising from now.

For 1st prize this month and to win my bet with my friend, I'm fighting it out against Accordion in the lead at 3070, myself at 3066 and Josias at 3023.

I've adopoted the end of month posturing for scoring but all I can only say at the moment is it'll be close.

Tool bar at top -----> Departments -------> Business

Take the total production from that page and divide it by your population.
