Moderator Elections Approaching?

I would like to announce my candidacy for moderator.

Platform:
1. Censorship of inappropriate language.
2. Mandated proper spelling and grammar.
3. Censorship of ignorance and stupidity.

#3 disqualifies you. You don't recognize your own stupidity half the time. What qualifies you to recognize another person as ignorant or stupid?

Bottom Line:

The validity and benefits of electing our leadership aren't even debated because it's benefits are obvious. I support it. I do not think now is the right time though because it was born out of strife. The people that oppose it now obviously are opposing one player over another and any actual debate has been side tracked. Yet there still is no debate, the benefits are clear.

I can not continue to support this because at it's core shouldn't be one player against another.

I'm putting it to rest and posting a vote on the matter NEXT new year season. New year 2012.

That can be our fist election, and if it passes I will show continued interest at that time because for me it's not about toppling Laguna he's just what prompted the idea.

There are currently 2 positions? Laguna is a shoe in for reelection, Jonni Gil is the moderator gone missing with something to worry about,

I don't think anybody has given enough reason as to why we need more/different moderation. I'm completely happy with the hands-off approach that has been used (for the most part). I want to know how more moderation is going to make SC a better game. I want to know what you propose to do differently than LG. If anything could use moderators it would be the chat, though it hasn't had the sort of problems it had before they changed the rules.

Laguna's doing a fine job. Solomon is just being a little brat.
