Now back to topic, Qatar is ridiculously hot, that's why they are reconsidering, plus the corruption and other scandals. The US will most likely host the 2022 World Cup in its place, it is a FIFA favourite because of its great infrastructure, stadiums, accomodation, etc. Russia, on the other hand, will make the 2018 World Cup the most expensive in hiatory, because they are corrupt, they don't have the infrastructure or even the stadiums. Personally, I wouldn't like to go to a country that is over nationalistic atm because of their Crimea Annexation, furthermore, word says Russians are Grumpy (hope not) and flinch at he sound of English.

There is no way the US gets to host the next world cup. I mean come on! Yes, they are a great country and a decent candidate but they are hardly the only one. The FIFA is a corrupt, arrogant and downright silly organasation but they do know how marketing works.
It's going to be hosted in a country that makes for a good PR stunt and has lots of money.

As for russia... they are corrupt, they are grumpy and they are over nationalistic but at least they like football. They've probably admited all these fine quality's to Blatter so he's not going to change his mind on this.
