World War On White Giant (White Giant)

War has been declared on WGC.

There was a time when simcountry had lots of wars, and
many players built reputations as warlords, politicians,
and loyal allies. However, these times appear to be disappearing,
and for those of us who like a good war, this is discouraging.

The Mob has never been a "peaceful" federation, but has
used restraint in an attempt to let players grow on its
homeworlds of Fearless Blue and Little Upsilon.

No war of any substance has been fought this calendar
year. No players appear to care about their security
other than fending off wendy's periodic noob raids. This
is truly not the spirit of a healthy game, or a fun one.

This said, the Mob has decided to try to gain a foothold
on White Giant and secure its place as the greatest military
power on that planet. WGC is currently the largest
federation in simcountry, and has vast resources,

I disagree with only one thing you have said, EO:

WGC offers no military threat to any player who does not threaten WGC. We were and are happy to live in peaceful co-existence with any player wishing to do the same.

As I said, we are not attacking any econ or new players (as evidenced by our war declarations).

WGC is the strongest federation in simcountry - hardly a raid.

Wars used to be common.

We have not fought a war in a year (since last summer).

If W3C didn't want wars, they wouldn't make half the products in the game war based.

If we wanted to raid assets, we would, and we could. We do not. We have only fought one group of players in the last year - and they responded by attacking us back. We do not pick on the weak.

We enjoy fighting and the challenge of war. This is the best opportunity to enjoy what simcountry has to offer.

It used to be!!!! Ive played since 2001....IT WAS ONCE VERY FUN to fight world wars and many players participated.

Now days, however, the gamemasters continually restrict assets in the game, mainly population, and make you have to PAY in order to get higher levels, then restrict how much you can transfer, so that it takes you an eternity to transfer merge one population with another.

ITS THE GAME MASTERS FAULT.

War Protection was never needed before, because everyone played as a game, and pirates were fought off because everyone (most players) at the time warred to defend their countries. Why? Assets were easier to come by. Its a monetary scheme by W3 to increase how much players pay. Players now pay to increase the value of their states, then pay continually to protect it.

Jo - I know this isn't ideal for you or WGC, but it will be fun, WGC is a great fed and this isn't about destroying WGC or fighting until death. We will fight a traditional fed war, if we are defeated we won't turn to c3 warfare, we will admit our defeat and hang our heads. If we win, we will not go hunting down the smaller and newer members of your fed, we will agree to a reasonable peace and depending on the conditions some or many of your countries will be returned.

I happen to really like both you and Kaymen, think you're great players and I'm guessing I would think the same about the rest of WGC if I had some time to talk about them. So, just as EO said, there is nothing personal here, we just think it's time for a war and a very challenging one at that.

Big chips war was not fun. DTA dd not find it fun to come back after a weekend to only mains. Alarich didn't find getting his empire gang banged by a bigmouth and two of the most experienced war players on the game fun either.

Wendy I wouldnt mind if i were banned. And actually there was discussion just yesterday(?) in chat about me selling my states, not that Im set on doing that. Indeed my pleasure in the game has diminished greatly. Simcountry is not the game it used to be, and is declining in my honest opinion, has been declining for some time.

W3 makes up for their declining popularity with the choke holds trying gain even more money from players who play for enjoyment. They have created and monopolized on a type of game with an attitude that would not be tolerated by players of other games.

Look at other games who are far more user friendly. Simply, the game "Cybernations". Their depth is no where near SC's but they foster an enviornment that is player friendly, instead of game master friendly. They respect the players that play the game...

I countered with clear examples of people that contribute very well to the game, and have since left becuase they have had hard work destroyed becuase of the greed of a very select organized group of players that wish to do nothing but take in a few hours, things that you have worked on for months or more.

The whole war started because i bought a country from another player (BC) who she said had nothing to take. And i have that convo saved somewhere. so she she thought she would take it out on our Fed, Freenations. That didnt work... so she targeted other feds to GET HER MONEY, was i believe her own words. From a country that was took from another player. Sold to a different player. Then she went from that to a complete other fed. Mind you two other feds TO GET HER MONEY. That had no defense and was the weakest players in those feds to GET HER MONEY.

Let's name people you've taken a country from and people you haven't...just launching a few nukes from c3's at those of us who could easily destroy you doesn't make you a bad ass. Your goal is clear, pot shots at the big boys/girls and take from the little ones.
