I'm just beginning to wonder what it's going to take for someone to step up, build a fed, learn the war engine and stop crying about everything we do. We aren't some massive conglomerate of players with all the experience and secrets...there are not 50 Mob members...not 40...not 30...not 20...not 10...BUT 5 MEMBERS...yes that is what you pretend is this ultra dominant fed that can't be stopped.

We're at the point where we can no longer declare war on anyone anymore without it being an 'asset raid'.

the problem is the lack of war game, really

the war game is fun, and cool. but because people are generally encouraged to NOT play the war game, players get stuck into the econ roll. slowly building assets. so that when some one chooses to play the FULL VERSION, they are labeled a war monger, and asset raider.

and when those war mongers/assets raiders come around, these players that were encouraged to slowly build, and not fight, are at an automatic disadvantage, true. but really who's fault is that? not the players that are choosing to play the FULL VERSION of SC which they payed for.

however, if the war game was more widely embraced, this problem would eventually disappear. the game TRULY, would not only be more exciting, but also actually live up to the advertising, the intro, and the documentation. but it is the "forced peace," by the player base that actually makes the war game difficult.

As I said before...the current cycle is:
1. Get a country
2. Build corps
3. Add pop
4. Build more corps
5. Build an army
6. Become afraid that you will lose the country/army
7. Go into WP so you don't
8. Transfer workers
9. Transfer workers
10. Transfer workers to infinity

Go look at how many 'war slaves' are out there sitting in war protection...top 50 slaves on every world, probably half are in war protection. Why BUILD a WAR slave and then keep it in war protection? Don't you guys build these things to do something with them? Is it amusing to just sit and look at them...ooooh...look at all my int wings...oooh look at all those bombing wings...what's the point?

NB. This post has nothing to do with WGC and I will probably be reprimanded or kicked out due to it. It is totally my own thoughts. I have played many MOLP games over 20 years now and played SC about 7 years ago for 2 years then left it due to life commitments, then due to serious personal reasons in my real life started playing it again about 18 months ago to give me an hour or so stress relief each day.

I have not been dec'd on in this current war so far so not saying anything out of spite, just concern.

Most MOLP games are dictated by who can click the most or who can spend the most time online. SC is different as it gives you a multitude of ways to play and if you do not want to play a clicking or massive time online game you can play the eco game. If you like clicking and have a abundant amount of time you can play the war side.

SC even have gone as far as creating different world types to facilitate this, I chose WG

Nicholasian - I'm not familiar with you or your role in WGC but I do not think what you are saying is accurate. First, every world is a war world, WG is no different, almost half of the products in this game relate directly to war and that includes WG. If WGC is not about war and WG is not a war world, then why they 500 million man standing army? That's the largest standing federation army in the game by far.

Second, you pointed out that we *DID NOT* declare on you in this war and it is for exactly the reasons you stated, I don't know of you specifically because the only players we were/are looking at are those with the largest militaries in WGC, as an econ player, you do not have one or if you do I'm sure it is quite small.

Third, leaving SC due to 'this' and having to spend a year or two rebuilding? We aren't going to declare on your countries or take them, if you don't get involved in the war

I don't really care about your opinions of how you think it is, there is more than enough of that in this and other threads.

I am giving my own opinion as deep down I want to keep playing SC but know where this is all leading. Just because I do not post here does not mean I do not know SC.

in fact i returned to SC on april 5, so after four months, i not only built and tore down an empire on LU, but built several giant war slaves on WG. destroying what people work years for? my point is that players are often discouraged from the type of things that allow fast build up!!!

case in point, with small amount of time, raiding even a single C3 a day, can generate enough GC to buy 5M pop a week!!! but players are discouraged from raiding C3s. because the common opinion is that you can't make a profit. you can, any of the players on WG or LU who even every once and a while look at the paper, would

They aren't opinions Nicholasian...they are facts...WG is not a 'peaceful' world...it has the same features as every other world and nowhere is it stated that it supposed to be a peaceful place, the over 100 different corps related completely and directly to military should be enough to indicate that it is indeed a world that features war just like the others.

If you want to leave the game when we haven't decd on you and don't intend to then it sounds more like you are leaving because you fear that you will no longer be a member of the most dominant fed in the game, not because of anything we have or will do to you...this attitude that the biggest players with the most military in the largest fed in the game being attacked makes them victims is a joke. If we were ganging up on you Nicholasian, then you'd have a point...but we're not...we've left you alone and all of the other members of WGC that are like you.
