its time for a random interjection into this topic...for no reason (hence the 'random')

to wendy: Technically speaking, it would be your enemies who would have to regain their honor and that of their ancestors, by committing seppuku. by saying that you have been dishonored would indicate that you did something dishonorable. Since the offense was made by your dishonorable enemies, it is they who need to repent and seek redemption.

(Also, if you want to use the whole "dishonor" thing, you have to be a bit more flamboyant and arrogant. it's funnier that way)

unless you were being serious, then you might indeed have to commit seppuku.
