It looks like the 5T of aid was given to my slave, Republic of VA. As I promised I would like to give this aid back to someone who meets the requirements and is in need of it. Kevin, Martock, or member of security council, who should i give this aid to? Please let me know and we can arrange a way for it to be transferred!

Graysville : need help i have been playing for about 2 weeks now and while i was learning to "do the right thing" i went 2.5t in the hole i have been recieving the 100b bounus for two days now. I have figured out how to stop the weapons busy for defense forces and have tried to focus on upgrading the infrastructure and corps. i had to learn like all of us. but with a little aid i could Grow to a Reasonable size and my economy could grow please help. I would like to handle both requests. I plan on transferring cfballers aid to one, and proposing SC aid for the other.

Okay, so here's the outcome:

1) The president of Graysville met me on IRC and we went through a GC swap, which resulted in him being $6T richer ($5T from cfballer and $1T from me). It was funny, after the swap, he asked, "Now, do we do it again?" Lol, I explained that was all the aid he gets! But, I think it was a good use of aid. Although, his country is turning a small profit, he was $2.5T in debt. He's adjusting to become a very good president, for example, all his corps are hiring at 100% and he's now lowering his taxes from 75% to 20%.

2) I have submitted a SC proposal for the country "Federal of Giant".

To my knowledge their are no outstanding requests.

I would like to thank the LU community for consistently supporting the aid proposals. I do believe they encourage and lend a helping hand to our new players.

No offense to anyone, but I am against aid to countries. I started this game over a year ago, and quickly found myself in debt. Mainly because I was inexperienced and tried to build an army my country couldn't afford, like so many other noobs out there now. I started reading the forums and the documents and quickly realized what I was doing wrong. It took some time but eventually I got out of debt.

If a country is in trouble due to an unprovoked war or something like that, then yes they are entitlted to aid if everyone agrees.

Like any other game, there are rules to read before you start playing. Get an understanding how to play a game(like this one) and most players shouldn't get in debt.

I found with this game that patience is the key.

started up 3 days ago so definately meet the newb conditions. as have no strategic weapons watsoever so no problem there. just starting to get some defensive stuff up to get to lv 2 and used up a bunch of gc on cash so ofcourse im sure i will need endless amounts more to achieve my goal of lv 4 in 1 real life month.

@ Keto, not everyone is able to pull out of debt as you were. It doesn't take much to get a nation into debt. Besides, there'd be little for us to do on the SC without giving out aid.

Less than .02%?! Damn. I thought we would have dropped it a bit more. Wish we could up the amount then...still, I think we've actually managed to hand out more aid in the past few weeks than ever before. I think anyways. How'd you manage to figure that out Kevin?

Please vote yes for the aid to Shaunzland when it comes forth. After speaking with Shaun in messages it is clear that he has ambitious goals for himself and his country. But it is also clear his goals are in line with what's in the best interest of LU. For example, his tax rate is at 0% and he has been actively inviting CEO's into his country. Also, he has been steadily adding population to keep up with the CEO's.
