Dirt, sometimes real life steps in the way and I get somewhat neglectful of this game. For instance, I don't even recall saying "give nute one of my countries"...lol. Ive been rather distracted in RL. But, these countries are simply 1's and 0's. They mean nothing and have no worth. Nute likely got a country far greater then any he lost.

As a favor for Mr. Kevin Henry I will post my thoughts concerning the current conflict.
First, I will say that the whole idea of LDI declaring on me and some of my friends due our friend ship with Wendy was the cause for this current conflict. Second, I am prepared to continue the conflict forever. Third, I am truly grateful that Mr. Stuart Taylor of Little Upsilon and Mr. Dubhthaigh of Little Upsilon are wanting to see a peaceful resolution, you are indeed attempting an honorable endeavor. However, LDI made a big mistake in declaring on me. Now they have issued a set of terms that I must reject in whole. I do not acknowledge that LDI has any control over me. I will play this game of make believe in the manner and fashion I desire. I shall be friends with whom ever I want to. I will be enemies with all who declare against me. I believe that Wendy may be involved in this process if she so desires and in the manner that she decides suites her needs. I do not hold her accountable for LDI's Hostile actions toward me. LDI decided to have a war with me, so they should be held accountable, by myself and perhaps by the whole Simcountry community. So if they wish to blame the whole conflict on Wendy then Wendy has already won because she has gained control of LDI's emotions. I will not derreg any countries. I will not agree to any ceasefire until I decide to. Dizzy may stay on LU and LDI will stay out of his business.
So Mr. Stuart Taylor of Little Upsilon, Mr. Dubhthaigh of Little Upsilon, and Mr. Kevin Henry as far as I am concerned LDI has submitted a set of very unreasonable terms.
Now I have considered these 2 following items that may help ease the tension, and possibly create a basis for talks of peace.

1. LDI will make public apologies to myself and the various parties that LDI has attempted to control through the use of war, threats, and hostile banter. The list should include Wendy, Dirtrocker, Dizzy and John L. and any others who want to post here with their grievances.

2 LDI will start to refrain from bullying people around ie leave people alone and let us play this make believe game the way we see fit.

When they declared on me I was just having a bit of fun raiding on a few C3s and experimenting with the airdrops. In my honest opinion I was not any kind of a threat to them nor had I given them any kind of threats. In fact one LDI member had requested me to sell him some shares of a company he owned from the investment funds of one of my raids I helped him out by doing so as soon as I could.
Thus in my honest opinion the very fact that they decided to declare a war against me is an act of bullying. I will not back down from bullies, it is not about weather I win or lose but that I have always and will always stand up to bullies and fight back.
So a word to the wise if you decide to declare on me then there will be a long and costly battle. the fighting will get so out of hand that others will say this war is hell we had better step in and try to get peace again.

You portray yourself as the innocent party when in fact you have declared war on people who did not attack you. As such your position is false and your demands are rejected.

Returning peace to LU is simple. Stop shooting. Take steps to seperate warring factions to avoid a return to said conflict.

This is BS! You only wish for a ceasefire to regroup and rearm your stockpiles. You have been crafty at claiming to have peace talks with myself before this even began all the while preparing for an assault on members of UC from GR. You did this with skill and precision. Good for you, but you won't get the chance to use any "talks" as a shield for your movements.


I think Nute made more than reasonable requests, apologiez to and from everyone and we move on. What could be so hard about that? Only your Head I presume.

I Repeat, there will be no peace, no surrender. There will be wars and destruction as a result. LDI, you weighed the calculations and consequences of such a war before you ever fired. You should have hired a better strategist because you gambled and lost. We are not Pushovers, we are not losers, you wanted war and it is what you will get, and thats the bottom line. There is no way around it.

To the peacemakers, I have spoken to the head, and the consensus is that we are not ready for peace, at least not yet. I for one will fight until there is none left to fight, Nute has stated the same. You peacemakers need to reach out to the proper authorities on our side and then and only then will you have any chance at making a peace deal. I have been told to tell you all, We are not subject to any forcing of a peace deal by anyone but ourselves. The sovereignty of the UC and its members is paramount. We WILL NOT be forced into any peace deal. Peace will come when and if the Leaders of our federation decide so and not a moment sooner.

To UC members, do not allow the enemy to sew seeds of division among you. Classic divide and conquer tactics are at work here. I have been approached by a few third parties as to why we or myself will not accept peace. They will continue to do so in an effort to divide us and turn us against one another. We must stand firm in our resolve. The enemy is weakened! If not the Sam-spam would be ever present with threats of "warm ups" and "I am prepared to fight another year". We know third parties do not care about peace, we have not affected them, we have not attacked them. They have nothing to fear from us or this war. It is their associations with this Regime LDI that has precipitated the push for peace.

I think members in the fight do wish to continue. Scratch that I know they do. This is the final word. There will be No peace until we get back what was rightfully stolen from us. And even if we can't. We will make the fruits of their labor as poison to their bodies. They have coveted what was not theirs, and they will suffer the consequences of not fully thinking of the outcome.

I assume I am one of the reference "third parties". I can assure you my intention was not to turn anyone against each other. It was simply to understand where the individual players are coming from.

I am going to limit my part in this on the forum, since everything deteriorates quickly here. I would prefer to continue conversations on IRC or MSN.

Also, I want to thank Nute for following through with listing some conditions. Obviously, conditions from both sides can and will have to be negotiated. Lets continue live talks.

Well Kevin you could be assumed to be one of the parties, but the comment was not directed at you.

I am a good judge of character, and i don't think you are one of the dividers. While you seemed interested in my concerns, your comrade Dub has been quite disrespectful and almost successful at attempting to divide the interest of all parties involve. And i think it would be advised that he be removed as a party to negotiate as he is not involved materially, but emotionally so, and has conflict of interest issues seeing as he is openly impartial to LDI in his motives and manner of presentation. I would fully entertain a peace deal, when I am directed to do so. But, I have been told openly and quite frankly that many of our leaders are not in favor of peace though some may want some. This is the reference I was making as far as dividing was concerned. These parties that are open to peace will continually be approached and worked on til peaceful initiatives are brought to bear, and then resulting in differences of opinion internally with our side of the issue. This discussion should take place internally amongst the individual sides and then determine if each is ready to come to the table. Then and only then can we hope to get somewhere. Individual parties to the issues at hand cannot make decisions for the whole. the two sides have to be willing to negotiate before negotiations can occur

I have no dividing intentions. I am sure i do not have the resource or means do such a thing even if i intended to.

My intentions, in cohesion with all others involved, is to bring about a peaceful end to this fruitless war.

Let me make it crystal clear where I stand. I support reasonable negotiations. I do not support a cease fire without agreed upon conditions for a lasting peace in place.

I am glad I got to met you last night and I will leave the channel open for further discussions. In 2008 I have saw many changes in people's lives both in game and in the real world. I am glad for the many success stories that I have heard and read about. I am also saddened somewhat as some of the real life success stories has caused several of players to leave the game or to spend less time playing. I do applaud these players who are wise enough to know that real life needs to have the biggest priority. I want you to know that I am greatful that you would want to try to bring a peaceful solution to the current conflict. Perhaps at some point we be able to form bonds friendship that transcend this game. I am truely sorry that you got dragged into the messed up situation of the conflict between LDI and myself. Perhaps your efforts will not prove to be in vane, and their will yet be a lasting peace between LDI and myself. Good gaming to you and I wish for you have the best year ever in 2009!!!

I do stand by my statement that there will be no terms, no peace, no surrender, no retreat.

There is nothing in my post to contradict that statement, LDI wishes for us to surrender, which will not EVER happen, this I assure you.

Peace or a treaty to that effect, is a whole different matter altogether. It assumes that both sides agree to end all hostilities for whatever reasons and that neither side has won nor lost. End of story. Any changes in my statements will reflect what the senior members of the establishment want, and that WAS reflected in the above post. The LDI's actions on the battlefield and letters posted-public and private- are deplorable. The community sees this and you guys have lost alot of respect. You guys are bullies and liars(Sam only).
Eventually the greater LU will stand-up against this crap and shut you down. The creation of this thread is proof that LU is getting sick of the war, and is just the first of many steps by LU to make it stop.
