Hello I would like to ask for a 5 trillion grant to help me develop my country. I am a new player and need the money to help develop my country in many ways, such as use the money on upgrading my services and defense.

I just can't figure out how anyone could not have enough money if they just don't buy a lot during those tender early years. I guess that's just it...if you are not a military player, it's rather easy to at least keep the books balanced. Which, is fine by me. Who wants to spend all there time solving debt problems when things like employment optimization and upgrading is so much more interesting.

I am in a stable financial position but I need the 5 trillion to help expand and upgrade my current situaution. My unemployment is minimal and I am currently trying to become level 2, I am really close too.

I have to admit I made mistakes when I first started of, as most players do. As an unexperienced player I had constructed more than I could manage. At an early stage I built many military units thinking I could conquer all.

But I promise the money the money I recieve will be spent very well. The people of Arabia will once again rise! I will ensure their security and kill poverty. When the time comes, I hope you all vote "Yes" and allow me to get the aid I require.

So your country is fiscaly stable and your asking for nearly more money than your worth for your prosperity with no strings attached? You'll likely make more mistakes at the expence of another country who will inturn ask for aid.

Dude, their is nearly 600T in aid available, i'm really not sure what the problem is. Its not like any one is lining up for the money...

His cash on hand and military assets add up to less than 2T, and his monthly income is positive 3B. Which wont cover buying supplies for his country, its only the newb bonus that are keeping him afloat. (including the +15B monthly income, he'd be in the red with out,)

Their no one else waiting for money, in fact, their hasn't been any one asking for aid for quite some time.

Not being Sherlock Holmes, i don't know if he is a multi, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. o well.

I agree with everything Josias just said. Without the beginners income my country would collapse. Anyway the voting is not going my way and looks like I won't be getting the development aid so there shouldn't be any more problems. But I would like to thank the 14 people so far who have voted For the aid and a special thanks to Josias and Navamin for supporting me.

Nah it's okay, thanks for the help but I will try and manage on my own. Prehaps it'll get me more experience if I try to get through this alone. But really thank you so much for the help you offered, I will remember this.

I'm suprized the council even passed it for vote. If it did pass, i'm sure the other 100 or so countries in the same boat would get in line.

Arfan, I believe your country will do fine with out the aid. It's up to you if you let it collapse or not. Utimately it's best to learn from your mistakes and it sounds like you are.

what 100 other countries? tell them to post here and maybe they'll get some cash too. there's plenty of it ready to be handed out.

I must of missed something in my past years absence. Is this Simcountry or shoots and ladders?

Even if those 100 'other' countries got 5T there would still be several T's in the SC for aid!

The point is that SC needs new players, and maybe a little help/interest in new pres is all they need to stay with the game. Even if it doesn't, and the money is 'wasted' big deal, its well worth the 'cost' imo. And remember 5T is NOT alot of money, c'mon guys!!!

It's a hell of alot of money for a newish game level 1. I came back to SC becuase they emailed me and told me it was finaly free or no more time linit, what ever the case is... I had no way to pay for it before, so I left. If select few who read the forum and are looking for an easy ride, start getting hand outs by the security council, I'd leave again (WG at first). So ya win some and ya lose some. SimCountry can find new players, why not let them adress why they lose players? leave the world market out of it, it's not the security councils responsability. player can select a new country or sell defence then turn on peace mode.

You have my sympathy, Arfan. I did the same thing. While trying to get to Game Level 2 with defence as fast as possible, I must have overspent 300 - 400 billion to build my defence. And the index barely budged. After that I just sell them back to the market and get to level 2 by peace.

Just follow Scarlet's guide and you will be on your way from financial trouble to financial freedom to having so much money that you have a headache not knowing where to spend it.

I voted in favour, though from looking at the numbers I think he'll be fine without it. Now, there is a lot of money and it seems like it's really difficult to distribute aid due to votes. Maybe we should set up some kind of criteria, find the worst off countries and all agree to distribute some of the resources to them?
