This is why Brown has lost a couple of his Scotish MP's. He is here to finish the job, but because of the financial crisis, he can't, for he know's that if England sinks then scotland will also go down.
So he is doing his up most to keep England afloat, but if we end up sinking anyway, he has made sure that the scotish banks will keep going.

I think we all see where this is going.

This is why we have the Scottish National party incontrol of England. By the time they are finished there will be nothing left of England. Scotland will have all the investment and power to go it alone.
But who am I to make an observation about the possibilty of the future not being what most of you think it will be? Come on, do you think the powers of the Scottish National party would let us know their plan's? It's taken them 200 years to get to where they are.

200 years of English funding. Bottom line is that if Scotland cut the ties with England it'd have to drastically cut it's public funding.

In real terms, Scotland's economy is smaller than that of Yorkshire. If Scotland goes independant then it'll just end up as bankrupt as it did just before joining the union.

Being called Welsh is the insuly, actually. Welsh is a word which translates into English quite literally as "Foreigner."

I've never really viewed myself as English. I'm British. The United Kingdom's three nations and once principality are one and the same country.

That being said, I think that if they take exception to being British, perhaps they should leave the Union and see how well they fare on their own a bit. Then they may realise just how much the home nations need eachother.

If you take the popular misconception that the BNP is a facist, racist organisation, then no I am not a sympathiser.

If you mean that I disagree that govt agencies MUST employ a certain percentage of minorities, regardless of their being the most suitable for the position, or quotas must be met in allocation of welfare resources to said minorities, or a whole host of other politically correct insanities forced down my throat just so our fearless leaders appease the left wing/liberal guardianistas that have taken over England, then yes I am a sympathiser.
